[Openal] Cant find a simple OpenAl example code

I been trying to make a simple "load a test.wav" in Openal this whole week
but i could not do it so i started searching on the internet and i got a few
OpenAl tutorials but they are all outdated...
I can always use the sample projects that OpenAl comes with but they use the
framework Openal comes with and i am trying to make it load a .wav file
without that framework.
Can you give me or do you know where i can get a very simple OpenAl
example(up to date) code showing how to load and play a simple "test.wav
file".
