The command:

svn co svn://connect.creativelabs.com/OpenAL/trunk openal

will copy the latest trunk of the various openal-related code, and put them 
into an openal/ subdir. OpenAL Soft is in the appropriately named subdir of 
that. You may also notice an alut/ subdir.. you shoudn't need to worry about 
that as I don't think it's been updated significantly since the latest 
release.
