[Openal] Specifics on Spatialization?

Hi, thanks Jason.

This is a really unfortunate situation. There are a number of
neuroscience labs that study human auditory mechanisms such as
auditory attention and scene analysis that would be thrilled to use
OpenAL to present free-field sounds. For example, we are hoping to
study Attention Deficit Disorder in a virtual classroom. We need
first to establish some legitimacy for using the OpenAL environment as
this hasn't been done in my field before. This is impossible if I
cannot describe at least the first principles of sound localization
that are implemented by the audio hardware and OpenAL. I would have
to seek out another option.

Regards,

Matt
