[Openal] Some frustrations with openAL sample code

For people following my adventures...

Chris has very kindly sent me a prebuilt DLL, and as an added bonus, it
takes an environment variable setting to override the confusion in Vista
over the number of channels. 

I have a 7.1 soundcard on order, because the SIIG I had wasn't true
multichannel. It only did optical output, which is a 2 channel protocol (for
my purposes).

So it a few days I should have something running.
