Hi,
OpenAL does not contain any settings for controlling the volume (or mute on
/ off) status of a recording input. You will need to look at other OS
specific APIs for handling that task. On Windows you can look at the
Mixer API and / or the Windows Vista specific Windows Audio Session API
(WASAPI).

[Openal] Check the input volume of

Hello,
My application needs to record the sound of the microphone. But, I am
worrying the user may set the microphone input volume mute by accident.
So I want to use some codes to check it and set the volume of microphone
input maximum.
Can I do this test using OpenAL?
If yes, how to do this?
Thank you in advance
Best regards,
BELHADJ wassim
