[Openal] EFX status and Linux status

EFX 1.0 has been available for about 6 months on the Windows platform on
the OpenAL wrapper (wrap_oal.dll) "Generic Hardware" and "Generic Software"
devices, and native OpenAL devices on Audigy and X-Fi series of soundcards.
EFX adds global effects and per-Source low-pass filtering effects to
OpenAL.   The OpenAL SDK (

 ) has all the details.

As far as I know EFX is not available on Linux at the moment.
