[Openal] patch for enumerating non-native sound cards?

Hi,

The latest OpenAL SDK from
http://developer.creative.com/articles/article.asp?cat=1&sbcat=31&top=38&aid=45
 includes a new enumeration extension called "Enumerate All" that will do
exactly this - enumerate all the possible combinations of AL devices
(<native>, "Generic Software", and "Generic Hardware") on all the installed
soundcards + audio devices.  The SDK includes example source code
('Enumerate' project).

Hello Openal crew,

      are there any patches floating around for enumerating users
      soundcards and making openal generic renderers use a specific one
      as a backend?

      Ideally, I would like to present users something in the line of:

      1. X-Fi .. [native]
      2. Realtek .. [generic] [default]
      3. Yamaha .. [generic]

      and a checkbox "Use 3D Sound HW acceleration".
