Hi Matt,

1. Yes, but I don`t think it will help in your case. Optical and Coaxial  
SPDIF outputs (like the one you mentioned handle multichannel sound only  
in encoded form (Dolby Digital or DTS and their variants). That means  
there is an encoded bitstream sent through the output and it can be  
anything from 1.0 mono to 7.1 surround based on what encoding has been  
used. If the source is not encoded you will only get stereo signal using  
the mentioned SPDIF connection.

2. The S750 does not have digital inputs. You would need an external  
device to convert digital signal to analog and feed that to the speaker  
system.

3. I don`t know :-)
