If the last time you looked at it was when Loki was maintaining it, I 
can tell you for certain that it's in a better state now than it was 
then  :-)

It's currently mostly 1.1 compliant, although there are a few features 
still missing.  I can't give you any dates because we currently don't 
have a full-time maintainer, much less a solid release schedule.  I can 
tell you that there have been several 1.1-specific contributions 
recently that haven't been committed yet.

What's not working for you, specifically?
