[Openal] Mono Streams on Fortissimo 3

Hi,

I'm not sure why this would be.   Could you try playing a single mono file
(e.g footsteps.wav from the SDK) via Windows Media player and then use
EFX10Show (also included in the SDK) to load the same file and play it ...
do the volumes appear radically different ?   If you adjust the parameter
called "(inside) gain" in the top-right corner of the dialogue box does the
sound get louder and quieter as expected?

Do you have up-to-date drivers for your card?

I have a a Fortissimo 3 7.1 card & Win XP, and using Generic Hardware,
mono streams (16bit) are very muted.  I replicated this in the ogg player
included with the SDK by converting the original ogg file to mono.

Any suggestions, or need more info?
