[Openal] 7-speaker sound with Mac for auditory research?

Hi Bill,

Thanks very much for that info.  Have you any idea when (if) an  
upcoming version will support 7.1?  It is quite important as I will  
be purchasing several high-end desktops for the lab and I need to  
know whether to get Macs or pcs.  My preference is for Apple, but I  
simply must be able to control at least 7 speakers.  I've got this  
working fine on our existing PCs.  It would be nice if it worked on  
Mac as well.
