Hi,
The structures like EAXOCCLUSIONPROPERTIES are there for developers who are
transitioning from one of the EAX extensions to the new EFX extension.
The EAXOCCLUSIONPROPERTIES and EAXOBSTRUCITONPROPERTIES structures were
used in EAX 2, 3, 4 & 5 to apply Occlusion and Obstruction effects to
Sources. If you have never used EAX ... then you can ignore them and
simply use the new LOW_PASS filter type in EFX instead.

I'm trying to implement occlusions, obstructions and exclusions in my
project. I am simply using the methods used in the EFXFilterWin32
(AL_FILTER_LOWPASS etc) to add various filters to the sounds. But I don't
understand the need for such structures as EAXOCCLUSIONPROPERTIES that are
defined in the EFX-UTIL library as it seems to be that I can get these
effects (occlusion etc) to work without the need of these structures.
Can I do occlusions, obstructions and exclusions with some modification of
the EFXFilterWin32 code or do I need to use ConvertOcclusionParameters and
EAXOCCLUSIONPROPERTIES etc to achieve this?
