[Openal] Is it possible to create sound effects in OpenAL?

thanks for the link, but that's a link for a windows SDK, since as i
stated i'm developing on linux (also for windows but development OS is
linux) i can't use that SDK, i would need a linux homonimous SDK which
i can't seem to find anywhere.

I really thank for your time and help but it seems i'm left stuck with
the same issue, maybe i'll post to the OpenAL development mailing list
as well, just in case...

If anyone has any more info on this matter it is much appreciated.
