Hi, it is my fault. I forgot to add the needed files to the autotools project, 
which does the packaging. So please either do a svn check-out and try again 
or use the autotools build system.

But, in fact it would probably be better to use the windows implementation 
instead of the protable, as there are issues with the portable one on 
windows.
