[Openal] Help compiling cvs checkout on 01/11/06

Again, without more detailed info I can only guess here. I am not aware
of any visibility-support-detection problems. Note that enabling
visibility support in conjunction with -O2 (or inlining to be more
exact) can lead to *larger* executables. And as Prakash already
mentioned, configure chooses to use -g when GCC is recognized, but that
is nothing to worry about. The "size" command is the only relevant
measure.
