[Openal] OpenAL 1.1 (OS X) alGenBuffers problem

OK -- just checking...  ;-)

Unfortunately, I don't really know much about the modern OS X 
implementation (I did the now-very-old OS 9 and OS X Carbon version, but 
Apple's been in charge of the OS X stuff for years now), so hopefully 
Bob can chime in...  There does indeed appear to be some insane 
inefficiency in there.
