[Openal] Using OpenAL towards firewire devices

Hello!

I'm checking the possibility to grab sound on Linux using the Roland Edirol
FA-101. It appears on the lists of devices supported on Linux (ALSA) so I
guess the 10 different sound channels should be accessible through OpenAL as
well then? Any special tweaks to query the different sound channels
available on a particular device?
