There are *PLENTY* of opensourced cross-platform GUI and Graphics toolkits we
can use.

I've written entire videogames without one single line of platform
specific code.  It's just a matter of picking the right toolkit.

If OpenAL demo's were ever written to need graphics and stuff, we
can use GLUT and OpenGL.  That would be much more in the spirit of
what's being attempted here.
