[Openal] OpenSL?

Hi Howard,
For embedded devices, one big thing missing from OpenAL is the support for
MIDI, as well as a number of 2D-centric features. As you can see from the
link you sent about the market OpenSL ES tries to address, OpenAL would
require significant additions to offer the features of JSR-135 and JSR-234.
Also, the API will have to take into account the specifics of the target
platforms, such as power management constraints.
