Hi,
I just finished upgrading our project to 1.1. It all went pretty
smoothly... doppler etc is still working and sounds as it did before.
In case you're interested here are the (only/two) small issues I
encountered:
Platform Windows; using the Creative SDK Installer.
* All of altypes.h, aluttypes.h, and alctypes.h are not installed by
the installer, but they get "included" by the al* headers.
I understand for some of
them either do not belong or their contents need to
be integrated into the other headers files. Anyways.... I just
used my old versions of these files to get it compiling.
* Device enumeration. This is a strange recurring problem for
me... no idea exactly when it happens. I have a SB Live!,
and I'm getting "SoundBlaster Audigy" as one of the avail
devices (in addition to Gen HW, and Gen SW). Running the
new redist installer seems to have done this... but it will prob
go away (like it did before).
That's it. Yay OpenAL 1.1!
