[Openal] Without alut ... what can I use ?

No - somewhere in old documentation someone said that - but it's
not true.

We have recently rewritten ALUT in a clean fashion, added more
functionality, better error handling, written proper documentation
for it and released it as a separate library (as was always intended).
It is most certainly *NOT* deprecated.

This new version is ALUT 1.0.0 and you can get it from the www.openal.org
site.
