Good question, you tell me. I just downloaded the installer from the site
listed on Apple site last week, developer.creative.com. It says version
1.0.13 -- posted September 10, 2004

This is from the Apple FAQ.

1. What's the latest version of OpenAL for Mac OS X?
OpenAL v1.0.13

2. From the altypes.h file I'm looking at,
#define AL_VERSION 0xB002

OS X version I am running, 10.3.8
