[Openal] GL and AL coordinates different?

My Linux text box has an Audigy board in it and runs Xandros (2.6.x 
kernel).  I'm using whatever drivers -- presumably ALSA -- that Xandros 
shipped with, and a recent set of AL code out of CVS.  I compiled with 
the default options, so I'm using the OSS interface.  On my system, the 
panning seems reasonable to me (comparing to 2-speaker panning on my 
Windows or MacOS setups), and the cone test seems to work (although the 
middle case sounds a bit loud, but the last case -- outside cone -- is 
working).

So what do I suggest?  If you compiled OpenAL with a non-default 
configuration, you might want to try the default.  Perhaps you are 
using another renderer which doesn't match the one I'm using and is 
buggy.  That's all I can think of at the moment...
