I am using the ut2004-demo-3120, together with the openal libraries that I
downloaded here http://icculus.org/~warp/ut2004/...but the same issue existed
before starting to use those capture enabled versions...
My kernel is a self compiled 2.6.3-ck1, which uses alsa-kernel version 1.0.2c.
The alsa libraries etc. are also 1.0.2 version.

My soundcard is a Soundblaster Live, chipset emu10k1.
