I was hoping that jv would look at it, since it's pretty
intrusive and he's still the grand poobah of the linux tree,
but he's a busy guy and it takes him time to respond.

I'm afraid I've nothing to do with ut200x; that's Ryan (Icculus).
He's on this mailing list, I believe, but IIRC ut200x bugs are
best reported on icculus.org's bugzilla system.
