In a similar way to EAX (and I3DL2), to allow EFX implementations to
provide different qualities of filters, but retain a similar effect in
terms of levels, the parameters are defined as such:-
Gain = overall level
Gain HF = relative level at the reference frequency of 5KHz.
e.g Gain * GainHF is the level at 5KHz.

[Openal-devel] EFX Filters

Hi there - I'm looking at EFX filters (alGenFilters() etc) using the
Effects
Extensions Guide in the 1.1 SDK.
Unless I'm missing something, the EFX low-pass filter only has two
parameters: gain and high-frequency gain. Does anyone know what the cutoff
frequency and slope should be between these? I'm guessing the same cutoff
should be used for cone HF response stuff too.
Also, the guide states that high-pass and band-pass filters are not
implemented. Are there any implementations of this? Does anyone know what
the cutoffs should be here?
Any clues much appreciated!
