I, too, would prefer to stay with a mailing list for development stuff, so as 
long as it's not hard to get one going and maintained, and people will use 
it, sure.

I realize a discussion forum is probably more accessible for users who need 
help, so I'll still likely be hanging around the new forums. But I would 
prefer sticking with a mailing list (either this one or a new one on a 
reliable server) for the -devel stuff. It's just much easier to go through 
than any forum I've seen. (plus the current forums are.. a little difficult, 
to put it nicely, to actually use; having to hand-write html to get any 
proper formatting and having to be wary of <div> placement? *shudders* much 
rather prefer having it autoformatted with no html allowed)

In other words, I'd like if they could at least leave openal-devel open and 
not move it into the forums, but I don't mind too much if they shut down the 
openal mailing list for the new forums. But it seems plenty of openal list 
users don't want that shut down, either. :)
