Since it was my original sentence that caused a little controversy I
think I owe some comment.
First of all I was not going to try to hurt anyone or to imply anything
bad about Creative and Apple, I know, it wasn't stated clear enough, and
for that I apologize.
Additionally it seems that my knowledge about OpenAL development was too
little to make such comments at all, I didn't know that Creative opened
it's implementation at some point in the past.
The only thing that I had on my mind was the fact that OpenAL was
invented by Loki, originally for Linux, and at the end of the day Linux
ended with not the greatest implementation possible, while there are
quite nice ones for MacOS(X) and Windows. Thats what I originally
intended to say without making any bad comments.
I definitely don't want to start any flame.
I'm just really grateful to Chris for efforts in making this situation
much better. And since it seems openal-soft code is based on Windows
implementation and I suppose it's the one that Creative opened back then
(correct me please if I'm wrong), Creative should get some credit for it
as well.
