Thank goodness I re-read that -- I meant to say "un-true"!

The rest of my defense of Creative and Apple stands...

An additional historical note with regard to Apple -- Their OS X 
implementation is yet another entirely independent implementation of 
OpenAL, not related to the original Loki or Creative code.

And many kudos to Chris for his excellent work...
