What does "SI" stand for? I can't seem to find the definition in my saved
emails...
Personally, I like "portable". This is the version that will build on
multiple platforms, so it's somewhat "portable". Maybe eventually the
Windows version can just use the "portable" code and have it's own
platform-specific files that get built together with the "portable" code
(to implement the wrapper and/or Windows "back-end" stuff) via it's
private build directory, without having stand-alone copies of everything
and potentially duplicating headers, etc.
And I'd like for the "portable" code to work on MacOSX, since a simple
gcc/make build environment will be much easier to use and maintain for our
game on Windows/Mac/Linux.
Thanks,
Ed
