[Openal-devel] cmake support added

Hi,

although most of the devs said they want to stick with autotools out of
various (good) reasons, I personally wanted to learn using CMake, so I
used OpenAL as exercise. As Sven pointed out he doesn't mind having
cmake support as *addition* w/o breaking the default build system, I
took the freedom to add my work so far.

People having never used cmake may want to give it a go, if you tend to
ignore it no problem. See INSTALL.cmake to find out, esp its status (and
current benefits). I explicitly stated that other OpenAL devs shouldn't
be pested if someone want to use the cmake build system and it doesn't
work as expected - or in other words, I am willing to maintain it on my
own, unless somebody else likes cmake support, as well. :-) (BTW, KDE is
going away from autotools; they prefer SCons over CMake, but CMake was
ranked place two; kdevelop seems to go the CMake way.)

As currently the CMake build system in OpenAL is not meant for
replacement of current one (my build file is not feature complete, yet -
building of static lib and testcase missing; no debug options, yet) I
don't think anybody should mind, if it coexists peacefully beside it.

Something else I need for maintaining it properly: Does a cvs commit
mailing list exist? I mean, it would be nice to see if someone works on
the sources, so that I can modify the CMake files, if needed within
short time.

I plan to add a CMake file for alut as well, once I got the OpenAL one
feature complete.

Cheers,
