[Openal-devel] Doppler Velocity

I hate to bring up yet another issue, but does the new Doppler Velocity
spec rub anyone else the wrong way? To me, it seems very
counter-intuitive (a scale factor for 343.3). Typically, you would use
this value to establish the units of the coordinate system you're using,
right? If you're using meters, then 343.3 m/s is a good value. If
you're using feet, then you would want 1128 for the Doppler Velocity.
Calling alDopplerVelocity(1128) makes more sense to me than
alDopplerVelocity(3.28), because 1128 ft/s is actually a velocity, and
3.28 is not. Would it not make more sense to stay with a quantitative
value, and just specify that the default is changing?
