So,
after fiddeling some hours and cursing about autotools, I finally managed nasm 
compilation. It is not done in a nice way, but autotools simply suck. Perhaps 
somebody has a better idea. (Try it first before suggesting, as 
autotools/libtool tends to break in various ways...)

Perhaps I should add a warning to configure.ac when MMX gets enabled but no 
nasm is found...
