The problem is I cannot influence it directly, as my friend owns the 
powerbook, so I have to wait until he gets my email (which could take till 
monday, as he dowsn't have internet at home) and finds time to do so...

So if there is anybody out there with MAcOS X and want to be a little 
helpfull, he may step forward. :-)
