This is great feedback -- exactly the kind of stuff I need.

WRT the errors you found:

1)  The failure on get buffer properties with the Creative hardware
device -- this one is expected.  There is a bug in the hardware DLL
which causes alIsBuffer(NULL) to return AL_FALSE.

2)  The failure on the first try to run the Position test.  I have seen
this myself and I don't know what it is yet, but it's good to find out
that someone in the field is seeing it as well...  I think it's a
problem with ALTest itself, but I'm not sure yet.

Errors I have found since posting Beta 0.5:

I found one!  Creative Speaker Calibrator isn't working correctly
anymore on two of my machines.  Carlo and I will figure that one out, so
expect a 0.6 version sometime soon...
