[Openal-devel] Code base...

I was wondering if I saw this right.  I was looking through the different 
code bases (Windows and Linux specifically), and noticed no real corelation 
between the two.  They seem to be developing seperate of each other 
(although that is noticable from the extension list).  Is there a reason 
for this or was it purly accendintal?  Would there ever be plans to turn it 
into a unified code base?
